Music & Arts School in Sekha

Tomorrowland, the famous Belgian festival, started a fundraiser for Cunina through the Love Tomorrow Foundation. We use the collected money to build the Love Tomorrow Music & Arts School in Sekha, a Nepalese village.

Why has Cunina started this project?

Not only knowledge, but also creativity plays an important role in the development of a child. This is why Cunina started a new adventure in Sekha with the financial support of the Love Tomorrow Foundation, a project of the famous Tomorrowland Festival. We are building a genuine Music & Arts School on the roof of the world.
It will be the very first music school in Nepal and it will have a unique design to stimulate the creativity of the students. Cunina makes sure that durable materials are used in the construction of the school. It will be finished at the end of 2017 and will consist of four classrooms and an auditorium.

What has Cunina done in the past?

In 2016, the first plans were drawn up and a soil investigation and geotechnical analysis took place. The first ‘symbolic’ stone was laid in June 2016.

What will Cunina do in the future?

The construction started in February 2017. In April, Sophie will visit Nepal to supervise the construction works and take care of other matters. You can find more information on: www.tomorrowland.com
We work together with the local community and use local materials to support the local economy and create jobs.
